Which side of the mirror is better?

What in the world is positive if you’re looking at it from the other side?

Is black positive and white negative?

Is being happy good and sad bad?

Is our right hand righter than our left one?

Are you less positive than I am?

Life is about contrasts but also about tints and shades.

Imagine two artists trying to make a striking and dramatic painting using only their black and white palette. One of them decides to use all the tints and shades that he could possibly think of by mixing different amounts of black and white leaving all the spectators open – mouthed with the amazing realism he could convey. The second one decides not to mix the paints and go with strict black and white, with no shades of grey leaving all the spectators open – mouthed with his honest intensity.

Which artist is better than the other? The one that decisively went to paint with black and white, or the one that patiently took the time to create a wider range of tints and shades of grey?

Is it more positive to be radical than moderate? Is it moderate the right antonym for radical? Are they actually opposites? Do both of them cancel one another?

Can you be moderate while being radical?
